“Jack” is originally from the Detroit, Michigan area. After completing college, he attended law school and passed the Florida Bar after graduation. Jack decided to return to school to pursue his Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property. While completing his LL.M., Jack worked as an Intern at Metisenty, LLC, and later clerked at General Title Insurance Company.
In October, 2010, Jack moved to the St. Augustine area and began practicing as an associate attorney with Pycraft Law, LLC. During his time there, he worked on hundreds of cases in various legal fields, from appeals and consumer law to family law. Notably, he participated in drafting the winning briefs in the published appellate decisions of Kiefert v. Nationstar Mortg., LLC, 153 So. 3d 351 and Poag v. Nationstar Mortg., LLC, 198 So. 3d 1000. He co-founded Naples & Spence, Attorneys at Law, PLLC, in September, 2017. In 2024, Jack opened Jack Spence Law in order to better serve his clients.
Jack lives in Jacksonville and enjoys golf and football in his spare time. He is heavily involved with local legal aid, receiving a Pro Bono Award from St. Johns County Legal Aid in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019,2020,2021 and 2022 for donating over 100 hours of legal services each year to the St. Augustine and Jacksonville communities. Jack serves as a board member on the St. Johns County Continuum of Care, a not-for-profit organization which seeks to end homelessness in St. Johns County. He is also a court-appointed attorney in St. Johns County dependency cases.
